From February 9, the employees within the National Company Romanian Post Office (CNPR) will be organizing protests for excluding the company from the list of the unities monitored by the International Money Fund. From 2001, CNPR has been enlisted among the companies monitored by IMF, implicitly the average salary being maintained at 3, 5 million Lei (350 RON), far under the average on economy.
For the middle of the following week, the mailmen and all the others employees from the National Company Romanian Post Office are decided to work strictly according to the law in force. In other terms, the day of February 8 will be the last day for the mailmen to carry their bags full with mails, even twice heavier than normally.
