The managerial staff from Cuza University puts the minister in charge with not having respected the legal term until which there should be announced the number of places for the university education and with having drastically diminished the number of places accorded to the university for the summer's admission.
University "Al. I. Cuza" (UAIC) institutes proceedings against the Ministry of Education, Research and the Young (MECT), as it has considerably reduced the number of places allocated to the institution for the summer's admission.
Mainly, the University accuses the ministry of not having respected the legal term until which there can be announced the number of places for the university education and of having drastically diminished the number of places accorded to the university, without a legal reason. Last week, the minister decided to reduce the number of places financed by the state budget with 10 per cent for the admission in the session 2007-2008.
