Mayor Grigore Marcu Back to the Prosecution Office

The magistrates from the Law Court of Iasi have decided to hand the record of the ex-liberal mayor of Trifesti, Grigore Marcu - who had been sentenced to five years and a half imprisonment for corruption - to the National Anti-Corruption Department of Iasi. From behind the bar, Grigore Marcu had lodged a demand for re-examining his record, on the reason that it was only a frame-up planned by Prosecutor Corneliu Marian Gheorghita and Lawyer Mihail Vlasov.
Yesterday, the magistrates from the Court of Iasi decided to send the record of the ex-liberal mayor of Trifesti- sentenced to five years and a half imprisonment for crimes of corruption- to the National Anti-Corruption department (DNA) Iasi, in order to be additionally examined.

A couple of months ago, Grigore marcu lodged a demand for his file's re-examination, on the reason that all was only a frame-up planned by Prosecutor Corneliu Marian Gheorghita and Lawyer Mihail Vlasov.
